Our Story
Founded in 1985, Rocco’s Uptown has been serving the heart of the community with authentic Italian-American cuisine for over three decades. What started as a small family pizzeria has grown into a beloved neighborhood institution.
Our founder, Rocco Marinelli, brought his family’s recipes straight from Naples, Italy, combining traditional Italian techniques with American favorites to create a unique dining experience that keeps guests coming back generation after generation.

Led by Executive Chef Marco Rossini, our kitchen team brings decades of combined experience in Italian and Italian-American cuisine. Chef Marco trained in Rome and New York, perfecting the art of balancing authentic Italian flavors with the hearty portions and comfort Americans love.
Our pizza dough is made fresh every morning using a 48-hour fermentation process. Our pasta is hand-rolled daily, and our signature marinara sauce follows Rocco’s original recipe from 1985.
